Legal information
This page summarizes the rules governing the public scanner. The Terms of Use and Privacy Policy form the complete agreement.
Important notice
Darky RAT Check is an automated security-research tool, not a certification service, antivirus replacement, legal opinion, or guarantee of safety. Static analysis can produce false positives and false negatives. Never rely on one report as the sole basis for installing software or accusing a person of malicious conduct.
Documents that apply
Your use is governed by the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. By uploading a file or using a report, you confirm that you have read and accepted those documents.
Authorized uploads only
You may submit only files you own, files publicly distributed for inspection, or files you are otherwise legally authorized to analyze. Do not upload confidential code, credentials, personal information, paid files obtained unlawfully, or material subject to restrictions that prohibit analysis or decompilation.
Security-result limitations
- A clean or low-risk result does not mean a file is safe.
- A high-risk result does not establish criminal intent or prove that a developer created malware.
- Encrypted payloads, reflection, runtime downloads, native code, remote configuration, environment checks and time-delayed behavior may evade static inspection.
- Results may change as detection rules, registries and software versions change.
Intellectual property and takedown requests
The service does not claim ownership of uploaded files. Uploaders retain responsibility for their content and authorization. Copyright, confidentiality, trademark, privacy or abuse concerns should be submitted through the official DarkyDev Discord support system at discord.gg/darkydev. Include the affected URL or report identifier, your relationship to the material, and a clear explanation of the request.
Privacy contact
The service operator acts as the privacy contact for this service. Questions, access requests, correction requests and complaints may be submitted through the official DarkyDev Discord support system. Requests must include enough information to identify the relevant interaction without exposing unnecessary sensitive information.
Governing framework
The service is operated from Ontario, Canada. The Terms specify the governing law and dispute provisions, subject to mandatory consumer, privacy and other laws that cannot legally be excluded.
No complete shield from liability
No website policy can prevent every complaint, claim or lawsuit. Legal documents reduce ambiguity but do not replace secure engineering, accurate public statements, proper consent, lawful data handling, insurance, or advice from a qualified Ontario lawyer. The operator should obtain legal review before commercial launch or accepting sensitive uploads.
